Pentax will release the limited edition of Pentax K-x dSLR camera in Japan. This camera comes with a robotic color scheme that was inspired by the “Kore Ja Nai” robo toy. Only 100 units of this dSLR that will be released. The Pentax K-x ‘Robotic Colors’ Limited Edition will be available in Japan in their online store for $880 and it will be available for pre-order from November 2009. [Pentax]
Pentax has come out with another point-and-shoot camera known as the Optio E85. This compact camera sports a 12.1-megapixel CCD sensor, 3x zoom lens, a 2.7-inch LCD screen, ISO up to 3200 and the capability to record video in VGA quality at 30fps. Pentax has upgrade their DSLR camera series with the launch of the Pentax K-x DSLR. This entry-level DSLR features a 2.7-inch LCD screen, a 12-megapixel CMOS sensor that is capable of shooting up to 12,800 ISO in expanded range. The camera is also able to record HD video in 720P at 24fps. Additional features include Live View, Auto Focus, and the face detection technology that can detect up to 16 different faces.
