Olympus has announced a new model to its mju line-up yesterday. Mju 1060 also features the same 7x optical zoom lens as Mju 1010. The camera includes functions such as Advanced Face Detection, Perfect Shot Preview, Dual Image Stabilization, Shadow Adjustment Technology, Noise Reduction and also an Intelligent Auto Mode for newbies. The intelligent Auto (iAuto) function detects different scenes and automatically optimize the settings for the shot. The 2.7-inch LCD seen on the Mju 1010 has now been upgraded to 3 inches on the Mju 1060. This is useful for viewing pictures with a group of friends, as well as for framing shots. It is excellent point and shoot camera with long zoom range, but if you already have 1010, there might not be enough motivation to purchase 1060 as a replacement. 1060 has several colors to choose from, like Starry Silver, Midnight Black, Cyan Green and Pink.
