Samsung Electronics has just introduced its new Smart Dorm Camera namely the SCC-74/SCC-64 Series at the 2009 IFSEC. This camera sports a 43x optical zoom and a 16x digital zoom to offer up to 688x zooming capability. Other features include a 360-degree fan and a 180-degree tilt support. Samsung just released the WB1000 digicam in the European market. The camera features a 24mm ultra wide angle, a 5x optical zoom, and a 3.0 inch AMOLED monitor that consumes less power but produces a higher contrast ratio of 10,000:1, darker black levels, more vibrant colors, and a brighter display that can easily be viewed in direct sunlight. The Samsung HMX-H106 camcorder is now available in South Korea for $900 each.The video recorder boasts an internal 64GB SSD with full 1080p recording capability and an integrated SDHC memory card slot. Samsung comes back with two new camcorders in the form of the Samsung SMX-C14 and SMX-C10. Both video recorders feature Touch of Color (ToC) finish and provide 10x optical zoom, Hyper Image Stabilization, Active Angle Lens, 2.7 inch screen, 16GB internal storage (only SMX-C14), SD/SDHC memory card slot, one-touch upload button and H.264 compression.
