The cool factor for this video recorder is that it also has an infrared night vision mode to capture video in the dark environtment. Available in violet, pink, blue and black, the Vivitar DVR 150 has a 1.8-inch LCD screen, a webcam mode, a 8X digital zoom, a TV out, a 2GB of built-in memory which is expandable via an SD slot, and a USB port. Exemode's Waterproof Camera

Exemode Japan released the DV533UW waterproof video camera that has a similar design with Sanyo Xacti camcorders. The DV533UW is a 5.17MP camera with 32MB of internal memory and a 2.4-inch LCD display. It can record video in both VGA and QVGA resolution at 30fps. The Exemode DV533UW is also capable to be totally submerge underwater to a maximum of 3-meters. [Akihabara]

AgfaPhoto Releases New Underwater Camera

AgfaPhoto comes back with a new underwater and outdoor camera in the form of the DC-600uw. This 6-megapixel camera can withstand pressures of up to two bar and water-resistant at depths of up to 10 meters. It comes with a 2.4-inch display, a digital zoom, and the face tracking function that automatically recognizes faces. The Agfa DC-600uw will be available in July for $210. [dcviews]

The camera itself is equipped with a 12.1-megapixel resolution, 3X optically stabilized zoom lens and VGA video recording capabilities. Apart from that, this amazing camera able to withstand depths up to 33 feet deep, freeze proof from 14 degrees Fahrenheit and shockproof up to four feet. Fujifilm has introduced its new waterproof digicam in the form of the FinePix Z33WP. Available in black, green or pink, this 10MP camera can drop down to depths of 10-feet, but, it is not shockproof. The camera also features a 3x optical zoom lens, Face Detection Technology, Automatic Red Eye Removal, SR Auto (auto scene recognition) and blog mode, which automatically resizes images to 640×480. The Fujifilm Z33WP will be released next month for $200. Its rechargeable Li-ion battery provides enough juice for up to 200 shots. [Crunchgear] More

Sanyo has unveiled two new world’s first waterproof HD cameras ‘DMX-WH1′ and ‘DMX-CA9′, both are ready for full water submersion. The DMX-WH1 is packed with a powerful lens with 30x optical zoom, 43MB of onboard memory, SD card slot and HDMI out. Whereas the DMX-CA9 features a 9 Megapixel sensor, 5X optical zoom and a brand new image processing engine. Other common features include both cameras record in MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 format, has a 2.5 inch display, USB ports, mono speaker and stereo microphone. Available by mid-March in Japan with the DMX-WH1 selling for 60,000 Yen ($ 650) and the DMX-CA9 selling for 55,000 Yen ($ 600). [Newlaunches]
