Two New BenQ Pentax Digital Cameras

BenQ announced two digital cameras this week, the BenQ E820, and C740i. The BenQ E820 digicam is a successor of the 7MP E720 and provides 8MP resolution, face detection, and a mode that shoots pictures at ISO 1600, while the BenQ C740i still offers 7MP sensor but adds the same face detection and ISO 1600 as you would find on the E820. They both feature a higher-grade Pentax lens with 3X optical zoom, include MPEG-4 video recording while zooming in, and a 720×400 widescreen mode for capturing DVD video. No word on pricing or availability so far, but we’re sure both cameras should be available soon.
